Women’s Night
Sept 19, Oct 17, Nov 21, Jan 23, Feb 20, Mar 19, Apr 16
Description
Women’s Night is an evening for women of all ages to connect and make space for deeper relationship and community. We hope to fill the room with meaningful, real guided conversation and laughter (or tears?) as we study scripture and pray together. We’ll take refuge from our daily commitments once a month to find rest, fill our cups (literally and figuratively), share our stories, find support and encourage one another wherever we are in our journeys of faith in Jesus.
This year we are studying The Beatitudes: Living in Sync with the Reign of God by Darrell Johnson. Copies are available for purchase.

Living Missionally
Sept 12 – Oct 24
Description
Facilitator – Lloyd & Carol Letkeman, Multiply
How can we live missionally with our neighbours? Jesus is the way, truth, and the life. Living missionally is nothing more than being true to God, loving others as Jesus loves, and having a heart for the lost. Jesus is the good shepherd who leaves the 99 for the one lost sheep. Living missionally is to engage our neighbourhoods with Jesus who pursues the lost sheep.
These workshops will be facilitated by Multiply’s global workers, who will bring insights from scripture, their experiences, and stories about people reaching their neighbours with the holistic gospel of Jesus. Anticipate being stretched and equipped to be an everyday missionary in your neighbourhood.
Sept 12 – Pastor Naat (Thailand) / Passion for our neighbours,
Sept 19 – Nasser al’Qahtani, / Reading scripture through Middle Eastern eyes.
Sept 26 – Dave & Louise Sinclair-Peters / Business for mission.

Heart Shift Ctnd.
Oct 10 – Oct 24
Description
Facilitator: Steve Greyeyes, former Education Coordinator for the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation
Jesus has called us to a ministry of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:18). Jesus also calls us to be reconciled to our fellow humans (Matt 5:23-25). At the moment it is difficult for Indigenous people to hear the message of Christ because of the harm that has been done in his name by members of churches in the past. If we are to follow Christ, we must do as much as we can to repair this relationship. To do this, we first need a clear understanding of what has taken place. We then need to understand how to work towards healing.
Steve Greyeyes returns to explore the topics of the Indian Act, doctrine of discovery, and Treaties. Why Jesus?
Oct 31, Nov 28, Jan 30, Feb 27, Mar 26, Apr 30
Description
Facilitator: Paul Kroeker, author of In the Way of Jesus
When you stand on a high mountain on a clear day, you can see far. Paul Kroeker’s life and travel experiences have allowed him to see spiritual trends and issues others may have noticed, but not fully understood. Over a forty-year period of time, he has been involved in discipleship training and spiritual formation in a number of denominational settings. In the mid-1990s, he and his family spent three months traveling in Europe, exploring new models of spiritual formation and discipleship. This led to a number of international work assignments with intensive engagements in intercultural learning situations. As the Dean of International Programs at Canadian Mennonite University, he directed a gap year program that took students to South Africa, Guatemala, and Burkina Faso. His next assignment was with an international discipleship network called Global Disciples, where he developed new models for church planting and discipleship. Currently, he works with C2C Network, a church planting organization. His role is to encourage discipleship and church planting among new Canadians and ethnic minorities.
