ABOUT THE MEETING PLACE

The Meeting Place is a Mennonite Brethren church in the heart of downtown Winnipeg at 139 Smith Street. This is a church where you can learn about Jesus and grow with others in a casual and modern atmosphere. We have in-person and online services every Sunday morning at 10 AM with programming aimed for every age group. Here you can find out more about who we are and what we are about.

MISSION

To be a biblically-functioning community leading people to become fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ. This will always be our mission, based on the words of Jesus in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40).

At the Meeting Place, we FOLLOW Jesus and SHARE His story, GATHER in our place and yours, SERVE where needed and WORSHIP Him in all we do.

BELIEFS

Our faith community is made up of people from lots of different backgrounds, many of whom haven’t had much experience with church. We draw strength from our deep connection with the Mennonite Brethren heritage.
